Vera Aloe

Aloe Vera or aloe vera can work to relieve your skin irritation. Sunburn or abrasions can be treated with aloe vera gel on the irritated area. Aloe vera gel can be purchased at almost all drugstores, pharmacies and so on. The skin will be better after topical aloe vera gel. However, if after applying this gel, your skin becomes worse and became a dark reddish color, chances are you have allergies.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal or wheat-based foods can also overcome skin irritation. Although it sounds silly at first, oatmeal can work wonders in overcoming skin irritation caused by chickenpox or poisonous plants. Wheat powder bath with warm water can relieve itching. There are also oatmeal-based lotion that can be rubbed on your skin before going to bed.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E can keep skin nice and heal irritated skin naturally. Usually sold in the form of oil and can be rubbed gently with a cotton on the inflamed area. Vitamin E in capsule form also the same as the form of oil. If you open a capsule of vitamin E, you can remove existing gel capsule and apply it on the rash using a swab. Vitamin E also serves to help heal wounds without leaving a scar.

Prevent Skin Irritation

Although there are many ways to treat skin irritations, prevention is the key. Skin can easily become irritated at cold temperatures. If the air temperature in the environment you're cold, always wear gloves to protect your hands from the cold. Use lotion every night so cold air does not dry out your skin. Be sure to wear sunscreen in hot weather when spending time at the beach or at the pool. When going to a mountain to climb, try to wear protective clothing and length to avoid direct contact with poisonous plants that can cause skin irritation.
